Women's Massage Services Offered
We offer in-hotel or in-home Massage for Women at every life stage. Studies support the efficacy of Therapeutic Massage for women, indicating numerous benefits beyond relaxation. However, there's nothing wrong with relaxation and self-care, either! Massage for Women is good for everyone, not only when you're having a baby or you've just delivered. Sooooo many women do not practice adequate self-care, and it's especially true for people who put others first because they care.
We offer Breast Massage (as a part of the full session), Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PVD) support, PMDD and PMS Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Postnatal Massage,
Lactation Counseling Services (as an additional in-home service), Private Infant Massage Classes, Infant Massage,
Mommy and Me Massage, Labor Induction Massage, Fertility Massage, Pediatric Massage, and Pediatric Autism Massage.
Details to each follows, links provided to pages that go into more depth on a particular service.
Breast Massage (click for more information)
Breast Massage is offered as a choice to all women, in all stages of life, as part of a standard session. We also offer longer-duration focused sessions of breast massage for postnatal women to address issues. Our Women's Massage therapists have been practicing this modality for many years and have extensive experience.
Breast Massage can help every woman, all of the time. This practice can even help with the usual monthly painful, swollen breasts some women experience regularly. New moms seeking help with clogged ducts and engorgement also benefit. We can even teach you how to do self-massage for the breasts yourself.
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PVD) Support
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction often plagues women after a vaginal birth; birth trauma can affect the pelvic floor muscles, fascia, and ligaments, leading to excruciating pain. However, sometimes PVD develops due to emotional, or other, causes completely unrelated to pregnancy or birthing. Either way, results can be incontinence, dyspareunia, pain upon sitting, and other problematic side-effects. PVD support includes working externally on the abdoemen and pelvis, an often-overlooked area, as well as utilizing breathwork, guided imagery, and gentle stretching. Pelvic Floor issues sometimes just come with age, and lead to incontinence and core weakness.
We've witnessed incredible results with past sessions addressing PVD; the change that women feel often goes far beyond helping with pain issues. A significant emotional healing is sometimes experienced, a cathartic change that has brought tears to the eyes of women finally feeling free of long-standing emotional suffering. The body does store emotional tension in our muscles, fascia, and tissues. For women with an underlying cause that is unrelated to birth, but rather mental or emotional trauma or stress, quite often there is a release of long-held constrictions. PMS Massage
During our monthly cycles, PMS is the time that many women feel that they benefit most from a massage. Try it and see; you may feel less jittery, more grounded, and more able to use the abundant energy available to you during this phase of your monthly cycle. Master your PMS power! Learn that PMS really stands for "Power, My Secret!"(tm). (Credit: Assertive Kids Foundation program) And, if you're dealing with PMDD, PMS's nastier sibling, a session might help you as well.

These are experienced LMTs who can help you through each trimester, and the unique issues each brings. Help with diastasis rectii, core restoration, and pelvic ligaments included. Traditional Ayurvedic Malish service available.
Infant Massage Private Instruction (click for more information)
Some of our Women's Massage Therapists are also Certified Infant Massage Instructors. They can teach you everything you need to know to provide your baby with regular massage. That can be in-home instruction mini-classes just for Mom, or even multiple family members at one time, all for the same cost. Studies show that Infant Massage improves a baby's immunity, helps them reach milestones faster, and has many other benefits.
Infant Massage (click for more information)
Our Women's Massage practitoners also focus on Infant Massage and have over 150 hours each training in-person with Earth's foremost Pediatric Massage guru Tina Allen, each working in the field of Pediatric Touch Therapy for over fifteen years. The style is Ayurvedic, which affects which massage oils are used, and quite a bit more. The style we practice is somewhat more gentle than is traditionally practiced in India, and elsewhere, worldwide. Otherwise, it's nearly identical.(Image Credit: Nate Davis 'Davis Twins Fourth week of June (9 of 27)' License by CC 2.0)
Lactation Counseling Services (click for more information)
Our Women's Massage Therapists can also help you by providing sesisons of lactation counseling. We believe that most women can produce enough milk, and that breastfeeding is a natural process that sometimes just takes a little coaching by someone with knolwedge and experience with helping new Moms reach their breastfeeding goals.
Every woman faces a unique situation, and no one-size-all approach works. Our Lactation Counselors rely on a science-based approach, integrating the latest understandings from current research into their practice. Skilled investigators, they will get to the source(s) of your breastfeeding issues. Trained by the Healthy Children Project, our Lactation Consultants believe in appyling a problem-solving perspective that is supportive every step of the way.
Induction Massage (click for more information)
Induction Massage works, in our experience. It's effective and safe. Many physicians in New Jersey are recommending this now. It's a safer alternativethan medical induction in hospital. Our therapists have always been successful in helping the birthing process to progress; we've even had a woman's water break right on the table, another only twelve hours later. An Induction Massage is a longer duration, and while we make no guaratees, our therapists try their very best to help your body along with gentle support, if the time is right and conditions are suitable.(Image Credit: Jason Lander, Artist. Fertility Massage
So you're trying to get pregnant? Fertility Massage isn't just for those experiencing issues conceiving, but rather all women trying to get pregnant. However, when there is an issue, the LMT will work closely with your primary health care provider, bringing you in-home massage as an adjunctive treatment modality to whatever other means your primary provider recommends. (We do not overpromote our service or make claims that are not science-based, unlike how some LMTs presently do.)
Mommy and Me Massage (click for more information)
Side-By-Side Mommy and child, each relaxing and de-stressing together. An experience to remember for lifetime, or maybe it will be the start of a new lifetime tradition together that will last well into adulthood. Yes; kids get stressed, too! Experienced CPMT (Certified Pediatric Massage Therapists), certainly among the most experienced in the state working with this population. (It's also possible to work on Mommy and then the child/children one after the other, instead of at once.)
Pediatric Massage (click to visit page)
Experienced and Certified Pediatric Massage Therapists can help your kids with Pediatric Touch Therapy. Dozens of studies show many benefits, how incredible massage therapy is for kids of all ages, in so many ways. Kids Massage is helpful for healthy children, as well as kids with health issues. Child-athletes benefit, and we have had many serious gymnasts and dancers amongst our clientele. However, Children's Massage isn't solely to help kids who are serious about their sport or other competitive physical activity; it's great for helping all children relax and de-stress.
Kids get stressed, too. Adults often forget this. And, yes; that includes kids who aren't quite so physically active; they benefit from massage as well. Kids with behavioral issues may even experience positive change over time.
Pediatric Autism Massage (click for more information)
Our Certified Autism Massage Therapists have been trained in-person by Tina Allen to work specifically with this important population of kids that benefit so much from Therapeutic Massage geared toward autism. Some of our Autism kids Massage therapists actually worked with autistic people prior to becoming a licensed massage therapist and Certified Autism Pediatric Therapist, and so they have that added benefit of experience. In-home autism therapy works best for so many families; not having to travel is the least disruptive option for kids with strongly established schedules and habits that they don't enjoy changing, if it's possible to not have to do so.(Image Credit: UNHCR Ukraine New centre for children with mental disorders opens by an IDP community group in Sumy with support from UNHCR
